Eufy Lumos Smart Bulb — White (Review)

Eufy Lumos Smart Bulb — White (Review)

Yesterday received the Eufy Lumos Smart Bulb for testing purposes. I had couple months ago looking for a smart bulb since my little baby girl sometimes need a dimmable light next to her bed, this fitted perfect for the situation.

This is my soft test, after a while with my son playing turning it on and off

In the box

In the box you’ll find the bulb with the user guide, a step by step configuration guide and, obviously, the bulb.

Daily use

I love the IoT devices, this is my first bulb. The bulb have a lot of uses or applications for your daily use, quickly I adjusted the bulb to my needs, I configured the scheduling for everyday turning off.

The Eufy Home app is great, simple, to the point as it must be!. Look at the configuration I have:

One of the best things I find of this bulb is the nature of the light, is very soft, also I saw inside the bulb it contains LEDs, so your energy consumption should experiment a reduction, is a positive impact.

One important thing: This doesn’t integrate with Apple Home app, if there’s a way is ignored by me, I just only know it have it own app and can be integrated with Amazon Alexa (with amazon echo) and Google Home.

Let’s talk about the price

I’ts $18.99 on amazon, for a lot of people the price may be good, for me I think is still a little expensive (it should be at least $14.99 USD), is not because it doesn’t worth, is because when you buy a device like this you’ll want to equip your entire house with smart bulbs 😀

Final advice

Buy this if you want:

  • Reduce your energy consumption
  • Schedule lights turning on/off
  • Have a good light environment for reading or any other activity
  • Manage your IoT experience or integrate with Alexa or Google Home

Thank you for reading and if you need some help on configuring it just let me know.
